Sports analyst Skip Bayless reacted to a rumor that the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in the Houston Rockets superstar Russell Westbrook. According to him, this would not work well for the Clippers.

The co-host of UNDISPUTED, who admitted to admiring Russ, argued that Westbrook is still too much of a solo act, which is not what the Clippers need.

“The Clippers don’t need Russell Westbrook. I admire him because he plays so hard, but he is so self absorbed, he’s still too much of solo act,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.

In his opinion, the only player that the Clippers need is Rajon Rondo. “They don’t need anybody except Rondo. And I’m gonna dig in on this because I don’t care who you wanna bring what other perennial All-Stars. They don’t need it,” he went to explain his position.

The 31-year-old guard averaged 27.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7 assists per game during his first season in Houston. The Rockets were knocked out by the Lakers in the second round of the playoffs.
