The 2020 NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers is not very excited about having just 71 days to rest until the start of the new season.
The Lakers and the Miami Heat, who competed in the 2020 NBA Finals, will have only 71 days between Game 6 (October 11) and the start of the 2020/21 season (December 22).
The 71-day offseason will be the shortest one in sports history in the United States (NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL).
On the other hand, the teams that did not participate in the NBA restart in Orlando will play again after 285 days.
Davis is expected to opt out of his current deal and negotiate a new deal with the Lakers.
