Sports journalist Jason Whitlock slammed LeBron James for the low viewership of his HBO show The Shop, which featured former president of the United States Barack Obama.
According to Whitlock, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is using the money he gets from TV deals as a pay for his political activism. LeBron has spoken openly against president Donald Trump. He has also endorsed Joe Biden, Trump’s main rival in the presidential elections.
“Things the mainstream sports media and blogosphere won’t tell you. President Obama appeared on LeBron James’ HBO show The Shop on Friday. It drew 93,000 viewers. LeBron is a failure as a Hollywood mogul. He gets TV deals as pay for his political activism,” Whitlock tweeted.
