The New Orleans Pelicans have received trade interest from around 10 NBA teams, with guard Jrue Holiday the subject. That is according to Yahoo Sports’ Vincent Goodwill, who also claims the Denver Nuggets are the one team most “hot after him.”

The Nuggets happen to be one of the teams who are both title contenders and in possession of assets to trade for the defensive-minded guard. It stands to reason that they’re in the mix.

“According to sources, around 10 teams are inquiring about his services and one team hot after him is the Denver Nuggets, eager to capitalize on their appearance in the West Finals,” Goodwill reports.

Holiday, who has a player option for the 2021/22 season and can become a free agent next year, averaged 19.1 points and 6.7 assists per contest for the Pelicans during the 2019/20 campaign. Kevin Durant recently rated him as the NBA’s best defender at the guard position.
