The New Orleans Pelicans are trading Jrue Holiday to the Milwaukee Bucks for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill and draft compensation, according to Shams Charania.

The draft compensation is described as “significant,” as the Bucks will send three future first round picks to the Pelicans, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Pelicans will also receive two future draft pick swaps from the Bucks, Charania notes.

The Bucks now have a superstar duo that features two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and two-way All-Star Holiday, along with All-Star forward Khris Middleton as well.

Last season, Holiday averaged 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

The Pelicans will now lean on their young core that features Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson and Lonzo Ball.

It’s unknown if the Pelicans will keep Bledsoe and Hill or if the team will look to deal them elsewhere.

Bledsoe averaged 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game, while Hill averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
