Pau Gasol took to Twitter and praised the superstar of the Miami Heat Jimmy Butler for his stellar performance in the NBA Finals.
Gasol called Butler “one of the best players in the world” and a “great leader”.
“I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge how proud I am of Jimmy Butler. You’re one of the best players in the world, and a great leader!! Congratulations to you and to the Miami HEAT on an outstanding season. Love you little bro!” Gasol tweeted.
Butler and Gasol (a two-time champion with the Los Angeles Lakers) were teammates in the Chicago Bulls for two years (2014-2016).
Butler averaged 26.2 points, 9.8 assists, 8.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals in the NBA Finals.
