Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler went down with an ankle injury during Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 31-year-old forward was driving past Anthony Davis at the end of the second quarter as he placed his left foot awkwardly, twisting his ankle.
The Heat ended up losing the game by 18 points, 98-116. Butler expects to be fine and should be good to go for Game 2.
“A little bit sore. I’ll be okay with some treatment. I’ll get ready to go again. I think I got to be ready to go. So we’ll see how it feels tomorrow, but I’m going to be fine,” Butler said, per Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet
