The Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has teamed up with LeBron James for the first time in his career. The two were used to competing against each other for many years.
After the Lakers won Game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals against the Miami Heat, Howard talked what it is like for him to be teammates with LeBron.
“Me and LeBron were playing against each other since we were 15-years-old. So I’ve seen it all from him. I’m just happy to see that in year 17 he’s still able to play at a very high level,” Howard said.
“Just the fact that he enjoys his game so much and we enjoy just being around each other off the court. We’ve really grown over these last couple of months being here in this bubble. We’re like a big family.”
