Frank Vogel shared his thoughts on the victory of the Los Angeles Lakers over the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals.
The head coach of the Lakers was proud of his players for their defensive effort especially in the second quarter.
After the Heat took an early 13-point lead (23-10), the Lakers turned things around and outscored them 20-34 in the second quarter to take control.
The Lakers conceded just 48 points in the first half (48-65) and 98 overall (98-116) and cruised to the victory.
Los Angeles now leads the series 1-0. Game 2 is on Friday.
