NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki opened up about the comparisons with Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic.
The 2011 NBA champion and legend of the Dallas Mavericks admires Jokic’s court vision and is honored by the comparisons.
“Damn. That’s a compliment. I wish I had his skill set. His passing is so good it’s a joke. I unfortunately always wanted to score and not pass,” Nowitzki said, via Zach Lowe of ESPN.
Jokic led the Nuggets to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2009. Denver is down 2-1 against the Los Angeles Lakers and Game 4 is on Thursday.
