Jayson Tatum shared his thoughts on the return to action of his teammate in the Boston Celtics, Gordon Hayward.
Hayward played for the first time in five weeks and had six points, five rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes of action in Game 3.
“It’s crazy anyone would think we are better without him…We’re so much more dynamic and versatile with him,” Tatum said, via Brian Robb of Boston Sports.
For his part, Tatum flirted with the triple-double (25 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists), as the Celtics earned the 117-106 win over the Miami Heat and cut the deficit to 2-1.
Game 4 is on Wednesday.
