Doc Rivers addressed the loss of the Los Angeles Clippers to the Denver Nuggets in Game 6 (98-111).
The head coach of the Clippers believes his team will be ready mentally for Game 7, despite suffering back-to-back defeats to Denver.
“I don’t know what it (the team’s mindset) is right now, but it’ll be good by Game 7,” Rivers told reporters, via Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
The veteran coach saw the Clippers drop double-digit leads in Games 5 and 6 and does not want this to happen in Game 7 too.
Game 7 is on Tuesday. The winner will go on to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
