Doc Rivers was disappointed after the elimination of the Los Angeles Clippers from the Western Conference Finals.

The Clippers were defeated by the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 (104-89) and lost the semifinals series (4-3).

“No. We didn’t meet them. That’s the bottom line. I’m the coach, and I’ll take any blame for it, but we didn’t meet our expectations clearly. Because if we had, clearly, we’d still be playing.

Just disappointed. I thought we had so many opportunities over the last 3 games to win… Honestly, I thought you can see the difference: that team has been together. We haven’t, and you can see it as the games went on… I still didn’t think we trusted,” the head coach of the Clippers told reporters after Game 7, via Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.
