Luka Doncic received high praise from the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, Rick Carlisle, for his performance in the playoffs.
Doncic averaged 31.0 points, 9.8 rebounds and 8.7 assists in the series against the Clippers.
“He’s one of the toughest players that I’ve ever seen in this league, and that goes back 35, 36 years. I expect he’ll come back next year even better with something new in his game,” Carlisle said, via Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.
Doncic and the Mavs lost 4-2 in the opening round of the playoffs and got eliminated.
