It seems Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James do not want to resume the season, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

The two NBA superstars spoke up in the players’ meeting and expressed their belief the season should be canceled amid the current social climate in the United States.

“Sources: Lakers forward LeBron James and Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard both spoke up in the players meeting Wednesday night and were adamant about not playing the rest of the playoffs and they wanted change.

The players will have another meeting at 11 am East time Thursday,” Turner reports.

The NBA has scheduled a special Board of Governors meeting today, while the players will have a second meeting to discuss how they will handle the situation.
