Jamal Murray made another incredible performance and set a new record in the Denver Nuggets’ 107-117 win over the Utah Jazz in Game 5.

Murray had 42 points (17/26 shooting, 4/8 from beyond the arc), eight rebounds and eight assists in the contest. He scored 33 of his 42 points in the second half and the Nuggets remained alive in the first-round playoff series.

Murray had 50 points in Game 4 and now has a total of 92 points in the last two playoff games of Denver.

These are the most points in a two-game span in Nuggets playoff history, with Carmelo Anthony having the previous record with 74 points.

The Jazz still lead the series, though (3-2). Game 6 will take place on Thursday.
