Allen Iverson penned an emotional letter to the late Kobe Bryant in the latest edition of The Players Tribune.
Iverson opened up about his relationship with his good friend, starting by sharing the type of first impression Bryant left on him.
The NBA Hall of Famer also referred to his battles with Bryant on the court, where he treated him as an adversary.
Despite their competitiveness, though, Iverson made it clear it was nothing but love and respect between each other off the court.
Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash on January 26.
Sunday (23/08) would have been Bryant’s 42nd birthday.
