2009-11-30 16:52
Image15 year old Greek guard Alexandros Aggelakos of Kolossos Rhodes became the youngest player ever to have played in a Greek A1 game.

Aggelakos who stands at 190cm was used for 54 seconds during Kolossos-AEK game yesterday which team team won 77-61. He didn't have the time to take any shots but he broke the record which belonged to Sofocles Schrotsianitis of Olympiacos who held the record after making his Greek A1 debute at the age of 15 years and 7 months. Aggelakos, born in 1994, is 15 years and 2 months old.

Recently a 14 year old Lithuanian set a similar record in LKL which is a good sign of teams trusting and investing in local youth players.
