Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers stunned the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series (100-93).
Lillard posted 34 points for the winners, with CJ McCollum (21 points), Jusuf Nurkic (16 points, 15 rebounds) and Carmelo Anthony (11 points, 10 boards) also scoring in double figures for Portland.
LeBron James (23 points, 17 rebounds, 16 assists) and Anthony Davis (28 points, 11 rebounds) were the best players for the Lakers, who suffered a major upset.
The Blazers led for the majority of the night and took the upper hand in the series (1-0). Game 2 will take place on Thursday.
