Jalen Rose had some fun with LeBron James about his numbers so far in Orlando by comparing them to Paul Pierce’s numbers. In the last two games, LeBron is averaging 18.0 points, 6.0 assists and is shooting 38 percent from the field.

James is getting up there in age, but his high basketball IQ has been a hassle for teams to deal with. This does not mean that LeBron could be slowing down as he most likely has the games in cruise control and will take the playoffs more seriously. That’s where the Lakers will need him.

“Got to get going LeBron. Those Paul Pierce numbers,” Rose said during the broadcast.

While Jalen Rose is right that LeBron isn’t playing up to the standards he always has, the Lakers will have the number one seed in the Western Conference. This will make for an easier road for the Finals.

“I can just say it feels damn good to be the number one seed in the West. For me, personally,” LeBron said to the LA Times.
