Zion Williamson opened up about leaving the Orlando ”bubble” on July 16, due to an urgent family matter.

The superstar of the New Orleans Pelicans returned to the “bubble” last Friday (July 24) and went through a four-day quarantine. Now, he is ready to play in the season restart on Thursday.

“That was just an urgent family matter. I’m not going to dive too deep into that. I talked it over with my parents, my family, and we felt like it was best for me to come back,” said Williamson, via Ben Golliver of The Washington Post.
