Arron Afflalo wants to return to the NBA as an owner, as he headlines a group bidding to buy the Minnesota Timberwolves, per Associated Press.

Afflalo’s group will consist of 2 to 5 individuals with a net worth of more than $10 billion. The current Wolves’ owner Glen Taylor has put the franchise up for sale on the condition it remains in Minnesota.

According to the report, the group headlined by the former NBAer is going to submit a bid until this weekend.

Taylor has bought the franchise in 1994 to prevent from moving to New Orleans. Also, Kevin Garnett revealed he is going to gather a group in order to bid for the franchise with Taylor looking for at least $1.2 billion for the team which, according to Forbes, is worth $1.38 billion.
