Players from several NBA teams agreed on kneeling during the National Anthem in the opening night of the NBA season restart.

According to Brad Turner, kneeling during the opening of the games on Thursday will be one of the many players’ on-court actions to protest against police brutality and racial inequality.

“The Bucks, Lakers, Clippers, Raptors, Celtics, Nuggets, Jazz, Heat staying at same hotel had a meeting. ‘One of the 1st oncourt actions will be kneeling opening night,’ player said,” per Turner.

The season will be officially back on Thursday, July 30, as the 22 teams are moving closer and closer to the season restart.
