Mario Chalmers expressed his interest to replace injured guard Rajon Rondo in the Los Angeles Lakers.
Rondo will be sidelined for the next six to eight weeks after he fractured his right thumb in practice.
Chalmers, who has not played in the NBA since 2018, has been “waiting and working” for another opportunity in the league.
