LeBron James and JR Smith are teammates again. The last time they played together was in 2017-2018, when they represented the Cleveland Cavaliers. The two veterans spent three seasonσ on the same team, winning a championship in 2016.
While they changed the team colors since then, the goal remains the same – to win a championship. Smith posted an Instagram story featuring a photo of him guarding James during the Lakers practice and wrote “Different colors same goal!”
The story was approved by LeBron, who shared it and wrote “Yessir bro!!”
The Lakers are getting ready to face the Clippers on July 30 as they resume the season. Before that they will play three scrimmages. The first one will be agains the Mavericks on July 23.
