The Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis spoke about how his team is getting ready for the NBA season resumption, which will begin with a game against the Clippers on July 30.

According to him, the Lakers are trying to rebuild their chemistry, which they had before the season was shut down. Davis also stressed the need to integrate the new players, Dion Waiters and JR Smith, into the system.

“I think just getting our chemistry again. We had couple of months off and we were on a great roll… getting Dion and JR adjusted to our system and to our team and building that chemistry now that we have all guys here,” Davis said.

“We are just trying to rebuild our system, rebuild our chemistry again and getting ready not for our first game but our first scrimmage against Dallas, just trying to get back into the swing of things so by the time the first game comes we are ready.”

On July 23, the Lakers will play their first game since March. It will be a scrimmage against the Dallas Mavericks. They will play two more scrimmages before taking on the Clippers.
