The Atlanta Hawks’ G League affiliate became the first organization to hire a female general manager. In particular, the College Park Hawks promoted Tori Miller to the position on Thursday.
Miller has experience in NBA organization, being a basketball operations intern for the Phoenix Suns (2014-2016), before entering the G-League. She began her career in the NBA Development League three seasons ago with Erie Bayhawks.
The former Skyhawks GM Derek Pierce will remain within the organization, overseeing the Hawks’ scouting department as Vice President of Player Personnel.
