Kyrie Irving got around 80 players on a Zoom call yesterday in which he argued that the right thing to do amid racial tensions in the United States is to boycott the NBA season. While some of the players, like Donovan Mitchell, Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony, were reportedly thinking of sitting out the season resumption, others, most notably LeBron James, had a different opinion.

Houston Rockets guard Austin Rivers shared a post on Instagram in which he expressed support to Irving but also made a point that playing and getting paid would enable the players to do more of what the Nets star wants to achieve.
