The Golden State Warriors are not interested in participating in a summer league, after not being included in the NBA restart on July 31st.

The head coach of the Warriors, Steve Kerr, said the team is not in favor of the league’s idea to have the eight eliminated teams play pick-up scrimmage games in the summer.

“We’re not interested in a summer league. We would be maybe if there was a formal version of it after the draft like the normal summer league where we could partner with a few teams nearby and have a few games with our young players and rookies,” Kerr told the press, via USA Today’s Mark Medina.
