Golden State Warriors are getting ready for the upcoming NBA Draft which will take place on October 15. The Dubs have the worst record in the entire league and are expected to get one of the top draft picks. Since the team will not take part in NBA season resumption, all thoughts are on next season.
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors met with draft prospects on Zoom, among them were James Wiseman and LaMelo Ball. Previously, it’s been reported that Golden State is not interested in neither Wiseman nor Ball.
NBADraft.net predicts that the Warriors will get the number one pick and will draft Anthony Edwards, shooting guard freshman out of Georgia.
