Obi Toppin, who is projected to be a Top 5 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, wants to be like the Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis, as revealing during interview with Chris Spatola and Fran Fraschilla on SiriusXM NBA Radio.

“Honestly, these past few weeks I’ve been watching Anthony Davis, just because the way he grew up was kind of how I grew up. He was very short until – he was like a late boomer, and, so was I. I didn’t start dunking until my senior year of high school. Like, I look at him, the way he plays in a league, the way he uses his height and his athleticism around the basket,” the 6’9″ forward said.

Former Dayton Flyer will be one of the hottest names in the 2020 NBA Draft. He averaged 20 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game this past season in which he was named the National College Player of the Year.
