Markelle Fultz was having a comeback year before the season abruptly came to a halt, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Orlando Magic point guard has shown many flashes of greatness this season, being a threat on the open-court and showing great guard skills running the ‘point’ efficiently.

Jameer Nelson, former Magic point guard and member of the team that reached the 2009 NBA Finals, shared his thoughts on the young prospect.

The Philadelphia native said he is happy for Fultz, while he pointed out the unfair criticism a young player may face in just his second or third season in this league these days.

Fultz is averaging 12.1 points, 5.2 assists and 3.3 rebounds, while shooting at 47% from the field in his third season in the NBA helping Orlando being the 8th best team, record-wise, in the Eastern Conference this year.
