Bonzi Wells really played the best basketball of his career in Portland while being a member of the infamous “Jail Blazers”.

Wells talked about his time with the Blazers, where the swingman achieved career highs in scoring, averaging 12.3 points per game during his stint in “Rip City”.

Wells and former teammate Rasheed Wallace, co-hosts of the Let’s Get Technical podcast, spoke with Justin Meyers about their experience on playing in Portland.

“I love Portland, Portland was great for me. I actually never wanted to leave Portland, I have the same mindset as Damian Lillard has now. I wanted to stay here for the rest of my career. I don’t want to know anything else,” Wells said on the latest episode of The Bridge Podcast, which will be aired on Thursday.
