Isthmian Basketball Ltd is delighted to announce that London Lituanica – the club who represent the basketball mad Lithuanian community in London – will return to play in this year’s London Summer League at Hertfordshire Sports Village on Sunday 20 July. London Lituanica won the National Shield in February with a convincing 117-71 victory over Oxford Brookes University. This month they were crowned EBL Division 3 South Champions finishing the regular season with an unbeaten 20-0 record.
In London Summer League 2013 London Lituanica finished third. They defeated Westminster Warriors 40-32 in the quarter-finals before losing to Medway Park Crusaders 42-31, in one of the games of the tournament, in the semi-finals. They bounced back to defeat London Capitals 39-37 in the the 3/4 place game.

London Summer League Details:
London Summer League will be a four team tournament this year with two semi-finals followed by the 3/4 Place Game and the Final.
London Summer League games last for 20 minutes leading to fast-paced basketball played at 4th quarter intensity.
