The Baltic Basketball League held a minute of silence before Friday’s and Saturday’s games for the victims of the tragic events in Riga, which took away the lives of at least 40 people after a store’s roof collapsed in the Latvian capital.

The teams and the administration of the league joined the people of Latvia in mourning those lost and affected by the tragedy.

In the wake of the disaster, the BBL would like to wish the Latvian people strength and unity as they deal with the aftermath of the terrible events in Riga.
