Three teams remain unbeaten in the Liga Endesa as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Gran Canaria got their fifth wins of the season each.

Real Madrid were ruthless in a 111-63 hammering of La Bruixa d’Or. Nikola Mirotic secured a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winners in a game where they simply could do no wrong, highlighted by this half-time buzzer-beating three from Felipe Reyes [skip to 21 seconds for insane three-pointer].

Barcelona stayed perfect after an 87-71 win at home to CB Canarias.

Ante Tomic paced the winners with 16 points while Maciej Lampe and Juan Carlos Navarro chipped in with 11 points.

Nicholas Richotti led Canarias with 14.

Gran Canaria won 75-63 on the road against Estudiantes thanks to 14 points from Albert Oliver. Despite falling behind 19-12 after one quarter of play, Gran Canaria came back to take the lead at half-time and they never looked back from there.

Elsewhere, Justin Doellman’s 32 points helped Valencia to a 96-76 win over Zaragoza. This helps Valencia to a 4-1 record in the Liga Endesa while dropping Zaragoza to 3-2.

Laboral Kutxa were comfortable 87-58 winners over Valladolid thanks to 15 points from Fernando San Emererio.  And Unicaja Malaga dispatched of UCAM Murcia 81-72.

Bilbao’s struggles continue as they are still without a win this season. They lost 83-71 away at Gipuzkoa. Jason Robinson led five Gizuzkoa players in double figures with 18.

Round five concludes with wins for Cajasol Seville, beating Fuenlabrada 74-60 and Joventut Badalona beat Manresa 70-63.
