The mother of Karl-Anthony Towns is still in the Intensive Care Unit, as she is battling with the coronavirus.
John Calipari, the head coach of the University of Kentucky, made the update in an interview with Jack Pilgrim of Kentucky Sports Radio.
“Ms. Jackie, Karl-Anthony Towns’ mother, is still in that hospital fighting. She’s there. We get updates, every single day we get an update from Karl Sr. about how she’s doing from the nurses at the ICU,” Calipari said in a Facebook Live video stream Monday evening.
