Los Angeles Lakers guard Danny Green remembered his time with the San Antonio Spurs. He was asked by Omar Raja of ESPN about Gregg Popovich’s reaction after Green dunking on Kevin Durant during a game vs. the Warriors.

Even though it was a rather impressive highlight, especially considering it was against one of the biggest NBA stars, Popovich reacted like you would expect him to.

“No [didn’t say anything to me], he probably just stood there. He was very reluctant to give compliments, ’cause he just thought I would get too big of a head and not play defense anymore or not play as hard. He would give me just a shrug or a blank stare as if you’re supposed to do that. I know he’s lookin’ at his coaches on the sideline ‘where the f— did that come from.”
