Former Oregon Ducks point-guard and Houston native Joe Young will donate 50,000 masks in the city of Houston as he announced via twitter.

Young will help his city in the fight against the coronavirus during a pandemic, which is testing medical facilities capabilities.

Young played at Oregon from 2013 to 2015. In 2015 he averaged 20.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game and was named Pac-12 Player of the Year. He went on to play three seasons with the Indiana Pacers.

He’s currently a star in the Chinese Basketball Association with Nanjing Monkey Kings.
