Madison Square Garden established a fund to relieve its employees financially during the coronavirus pandemic. The company donated $1 million, that was matched by Garden CEO James Dolan.

The fund has been set up to provide direct assistance to employees for a variety of expenses, including health care, rent/mortgage, food and other necessities, while the arena is shuttered due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The MSG management provided another $300,000 with the hope that the fund will grow with contributions from the Knicks and Rangers.
