The Philadelphia 76ers underwent coronavirus testing on Monday, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Sixers had to be tested for the virus, after they faced the Detroit Pistons, who had a player test positive for the coronavirus.

“The 76ers players were tested on Monday for COVID-19, according to multiple sources. The news comes after the team announced last Thursday that it was organizing for players and staff members, who recently came in contact with players who tested positive for the disease, to be tested. At least some of the Sixers staff members are still waiting to be tested,” Pompey reports.

Detroit big man Christian Wood was tested positive for the coronavirus. Philadelphia faced the Pistons on March 11.

The NBA has suspended the season for at least 30 days, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
