Derrick Rose shared his thoughts on Ja Morant and what impresses him about the rookie star of the Memphis Grizzlies.
“He’s leading Memphis in the right direction. You can tell his teammates love playing with him because they know they will get the ball. He competes every night,” Rose told Duane Rankin of the Arizona Central.
Morant is averaging 17.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 7.0 assists in 54 games with the Grizzlies, while Memphis is eighth in the West with a 29-31 record.
Morant is considered the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award.
