Memphis Grizzlies rookie star Ja Morant insists he does not care at all about winning the Rookie of the Year award.

Morant is considered the favorite to win the award, despite the excellent performances of Zion Williamson. However, his main focus is to lead the Grizzlies to the playoffs.

“I honestly don’t care about Rookie of the Year. They can give that to who they want,” Morant said, according to Omari Sankofa II of The Athetic.

Morant is averaging 17.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game this season, while the Grizzlies are eighth in the West with a 29-31 record.
