Jeff Green has played only five games for the Houston Rockets, but wants to remain with the team long term.
“It’s a great city, great culture. My wife loves it. That’s the biggest say so now in the household. As long as my wife loves it, I love playing basketball. Houston being a great city, I’d love to stay there,” Green said, via Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Green signed a 10-day contract with the Rockets back on February 18, and Houston has since signed him to a guaranteed deal for the remainder of the season.
The 33-year-old is averaging 8.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in his brief stint with the Rockets.
