On the TV Show First Things First, former NBA player, currently sitting in the NBA expert chair, Kendrick Perkins shared his doubts on Clippers chances of dominating in the playoffs and Paul George’s impact on the game.
“They [the Clippers] are looking ‘funny in the light’. Paul George is having one of his worst careers right now scoring-wise with the Clippers. Right now he is shooting 42 percent from the field, he’s averaging 20 points, he’s not the PG we’ve seen last year,” Perk said. “And right now the Clippers are having problems. To me, if they won’t lock it their second seed [in Western Conference], it’s gonna be a problem. Clippers have some ‘soul-searching’ to do.”
