Elan Chalon have completed the signing of former New Jersey Nets forward Shelden Williams.

The former Duke Blue Devil played six years in the NBA with seven different sides. He finished up with the New Jersey Nets last season, averaging 4.6 points in 58 games before their move to Brooklyn.

This will be Williams’ first venture into Europe but he has the right people to call for with regards to advice. His half-brother Anthony Parker was a three-time European Cup winner and two-time Euroleague MVP.

Williams is the career leader in rebounds (1,262) and blocked shots (422) at Duke.

The forward will not fly to France until the weekend.
