Real Madrid guard Sergio Llull could be hanging around the Spanish capital for a little while longer.

The 24-year-old has been offered a massive six year extension, plus an option for another year on top of that with last season’s Liga Endesa runners-up, according to Spanish media outlet Marca.

This news shows Madrid’s clear intentions to keep the talented Spanish international.

Llull arrived in Madrid from Manresa in 2007 and has led his side to the 2012 Copa Del Rey crown where he was named MVP. The guard has also won two Eurobasket gold medals (2009, 2011) and a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympics.

He averaged 10.3 points, 3.9 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 46 domestic games last term plus 7.4 points in last season’s Euroleague.

Real Madrid will be competing in Group A of the Euroleague where they will face Panathinaikos, Khimki, Fenerbahce, Union Olimpija and a qualifying champion.
