Jayson Tatum exploded with 41 points against the Los Angeles Lakers, repeating his career high. The Celtics narrowly lost the game by two points (112-114).

Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins was impressed by the 21-year-old forward. He went as far as to say that Tatum overnight night went from an All-Star to possibly being in the MVP conversation.

This season the Celtics’ forward is averaging 22.9 points, 7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
