Detroit Pistons forward Markieff Morris has agreed to a contract buyout, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Morris is averaging 11.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, while shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from three-point.

The Los Angeles Lakers have already emerged as the front-runner to sign Morris, but the Toronto Raptors also have interest in him, according to Charania.

Markieff’s brother Marcus was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, so it will be interesting to see if both Morris brothers end up in L.A. and face off against each other in the playoffs.
