What was a common secret during the past few days have been officiliased after UNICS announced the signing of Greek international forward Kostas Kaimakoglou.
Kaimakoglou was one of the most stable Panathinaikos players over the past two seasons and cashed in his great form with a lucrative contract in Russia.
According to sources he will be earning around 1.200.000 euros per season for two years. He has also offers from Galatasaray, which he didn’t choose because they would not compete in Euroleague next season, and Panathinaikos, who couldn’t compete with the other offers.
The player averaged 7.9ppg and 4.1rpb in last edition of Euroleague.
